10:45 AM – Ratha Yatra Begins from the Temple to Julia Davis Park
12:00 PM – Music, Dance, Art, Food and more at Julia David Park
04:30 PM – Maha-Aartik and Kirtan at the Temple
05:00 PM – Prasadam Feast
Venue: Ratha Yatra starts from the Temple and goes through University into Julia Davis Park (by the Friendship Bridge area)
Parking Instructions: Parking at the venue is very limited; so park at the temple and be part of Ratha Yatra procession to Julia Davis Park.
Special Note: Please come in traditional and colorful clothes to enhance the spirit of this festival. This year, we will have multiple Rathas (Chariots), including mini-Ratha for children. Also, the Lordships (Lord Jagannatha, Lord Baladeva and Subhadra) and Their Chariots will be situated in Julia Davis Park by the Friendship bridge from 12pm to 4pm – there will be free prasadam at the venue, as well as delicious food (like Samosas, Sweets, Drinks, etc.) will be available for purchase. Feel free to bring fresh fruits for offerings to Lord Jagannatha at the Venue. |
